Extrusion is a processing technology used to manufacture a wide range of products in the food and related industries - from snacks, breakfast cereals, and pasta to petfoods and aquafeeds. The program is presented by Dennis Forte, a chemical engineer with extensive experience in extrusion processing and die design, having worked with a variety of companies and extruded products, including breakfast cereals and snacks, pet foods and aqua-feeds, pasta, and confectionery, and plant-based meat replacements.
